Partners Advertising Guidelines

 

Partners advertising specifications and guidelines

 

Rich media does not always work in all web browsers. Advertiser needs to test all media in Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, AOL, Apple Safari, Netscape and Opera to ensure compatibility.

 

Flash or other rich media ads must include a reference to an alternate .gif  file. The alternate .gif file will display if the user does not have a Flash plug in or otherwise is not accepting Flash ads.

 

Ads must invoke or open a new browser window.

 

Advertiser’s name/logo must appear in the ad.

 

It is preferred that the advertiser supply a completed ad by the advertising deadline. If you do not have the ability or staff to create the ad, Partnerscan put you in touch with an agency that can create your ad, for a fee. Please e-mail ctic@ctic.purdue.edu for more information.

 

Advertisements will remain on the Partners page(s) for six months.

 

Information on the number of hits on Partners page(s) ad(s); and forwards and clicks on e-mail ad(s) will be available to advertisers.

 

Partners Advertising Specifications

 

Type – jpg, gif, tif, eps

Size – 120 w x125 h, or 125 w x 600 h, either size at 72 dpi

Provide hyperlink to the web page to display when the ad is clicked on.

(Ex: http://www.YourCompanyName.com/Folder/PageName.html)

The Conservation Technology Information Center (CTIC) reserves the right to refuse any advertising or request for any web link, mutual or otherwise. CTIC further reserves the right to terminate any advertising found to be contrary to the goals and purposes of this organization after advertising privileges have been granted. Decisions to accept, deny, or revoke advertising applications are made solely by CTIC. All decisions are final.
