Your Audience
- Information will reach 100 percent of the producers in the watershed, representing 52,480 acres.
- Media releases will reach local publications: Fairbury Blade, Pontiac Daily Leader, and The Paper; regional publications including AgriNews and the county Bugle; and national publications such as Corn and Soybean Digest, Farm Journal, Successful Farming, and more.
- Exposure will include CTIC’s e-magazine, Partners, with a circulation of more than 6,000 conservation professionals, as well as an interactive web site devoted to the project.
- Area-wide producers will meet to discuss project progress and conservation systems.
- Field days will be promoted through local agricultural dealers...and other agricultural professionals who producers go to for advice...and will attract watershed producers as well as producers in surrounding counties.
- Producer information packets will include your logo, nutrient use efficiency study data, demonstration information and results, 4R nutrient stewardship materials, and tactics to avoid herbicide resistance.
- Speakers will include company representatives, conservation producers and other conservation experts, and partnering organizations.
- Winter meetings will be held to update Indian Creek producers and interested others and solicit feedback for successful continuation of the project.
- Regular reports will be filed with IL EPA, IL Department of Agriculture, US EPA, USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service NRCS and other partners.
